Before I start rambling about how lovely the Yoghurt Barn is and how awesome this picknick was I first like to say I'm going to post my blogposts in Dutch and English from now on. Since most of my readers are from Holland and for the few that are not I'll translate it for you at the end of the Dutch part! I hope this will make everyone happy (:
De Yoghurt Barn, een verslaving die mijn vriendje en ik al best een tijdje hebben sinds deze winkel in Utrecht is gekomen. Alles in de winkel is biologisch, van de yoghurt tot de thee en van de limonades tot de muffins. Je kunt er zelf je yoghurt samen stellen of een van de specials bestellen die ze zelf al samengesteld hebben kiezen. Ik ben echt een sucker voor de Merry Berry hier zitten frambozen, blauwe bessen en een beetje frambozen jam in. In combinatie met hangop, heerlijk. Ook hadden we vandaag Strawberry Crunch, een seizoen special. Hier zit aardbeien siroop, aardbeien, stukken witte chocolade en muesli in. Ook echt heerlijk!
Meestal gaan we voor alleen een yoghurtje maar vandaag hebben we een picknick gedaan! Echt zo'n verwennerij is het, ik zal even vertellen wat er allemaal in zat: twee medium yoghurtjes naar keuze, drinken naar keuze (wij zijn voor de Bionina granaatappel en citroen gegaan!), een framboos/blauwe bes/yoghurt/chia zaadjes smoothie en een met mango/banaan/yoghurt/walnoten/lijn zaad, twee plakken oerbrood, croissantjes met boter en frambozen jam, een blauwe bessen muffin en een met banaan.
Genoeg eten dus voor een goed gevulde maag, wij hebben echt geluk gehad met het heerlijke weer van vandaag. We hebben heerlijk in de zon gezeten en genoten van al het lekkers dat we hadden.
Ik raad je zeker aan om eens bij de Yoghurt Barn langs te gaan als je in Utrecht of Amsterdam bent! Deze picknick moet je wel van tevoren reserveren, je betaald €19,95 per persoon. Goed te doen voor al het heerlijke eten dat je krijgt! Je kunt natuurlijk ook gewoon fijn in de Barn zelf gaan zitten met een yoghurtje en wat lekkers te drinken of er een high tea doen!

The Yogurt Barn, an addiction that my boyfriend and I have for a while since this store opened in Utrecht. Everything in the shop is organic from the yogurt to the tea and from the lemonades to the muffins. You can compose your own yogurt or order one of the specials that they themselves have already composed. I'm a sucker for the Merry Berry it contains raspberries, blue berries and a little raspberry jam. In combination with thick yogurt, delicious. Today we also had Strawberry Crunch, a season special. It contains strawberry syrup, strawberries, pieces of white chocolate and granola. Also really delicious!
We usually go for just a yoghurt but today we had a picnic! Is it really such a pampering, I'll just tell you what it contained: two medium yogurts of choice, drink of choice (we had Bionina pomegranate and lemon!), a raspberry/blueberry/yogurt/chia seeds smoothie and one with mango/banana/yogurt/walnuts/linseed, two slices homemade bread, croissants with butter and raspberry jam, a muffin and a blueberry with banana.
Enough food for a filled up stomach, we were really lucky with the great weather today. We'd sat soaking up the sun and enjoyed all the tasty food that we had. I recommend you to visit the Yogurt Barn if you are in Utrecht or Amsterdam! You have to book this picnic in advance, you pay € 19.95 per person. A good price for all the delicious food that you'll get! Of course you can also just sit down in the Barn itself with a yoghurt and a drink!
